1. What programs does the school offer?
At San Bernardino Beauty College, we offer the following programs:
Barbering (1000 hours)
Barber Crossover (200 hours) (Not eligible for financial aid; students must pay tuition out of pocket)
Cosmetologist (1000 hours)
Nail Technician (600 hours)
Manicurist (400 hours) (Not eligible for financial aid; students must pay tuition out of pocket)
Esthetician (600 hours)
2. What documents do I need to enroll?
To enroll, please bring the following:
✔ High School Diploma (or equivalent)
✔ Social Security Number (SSN)
✔ Government-issued photo ID
3. When can I start my classes?
Once you complete the enrollment process, you can start your program on the Tuesday following your enrollment date.
4. Does the school offer financial aid?
Yes! We are approved by FAFSA, so you may qualify for Pell Grants and student loans.
💡 Important: If you plan to apply for financial aid, complete your FAFSA application before your enrollment date.

If you plan to take out student loans, you must complete Entrance Counseling as well.
5. What is the difference between Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans?

Subsidized Loans: The government covers the interest while you're in school, during the grace period, and in deferment. These loans are need-based.

Unsubsidized Loans: Interest starts accruing immediately upon disbursement. You are responsible for all interest, though payments can be deferred while in school. These loans are not need-based.
6. Does the school offer any grants other than financial aid?
Yes! We also accept:
🎖 VA GI Bill® – For eligible military veterans and their dependents.
🩺 Rehabilitation (REHAB) Program – For qualifying students who need vocational rehabilitation assistance.
If you believe you qualify for these programs, contact our Admissions Office for more details.
7. Do you offer online (hybrid) learning?
Yes! We offer hybrid learning, which allows students to complete some hours through online coursework. However, online hours cannot exceed on-campus hours per week.
8. Can I visit the campus for a tour and consultation?
Yes! We welcome walk-in visits during our business hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday. No appointment is necessary—just stop by, and we’ll be happy to assist you!

9. Can I register for enrollment online?
While you can find information about our programs and financial aid online, enrollment must be completed in person. Visit our campus during business hours to complete the process.
